‘STANGLWIRT AUSTRIA-WORLD CLASS TENNIS. Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt Resort, Austria and its PBI tennis are a well known and renowned tennis combination.
The hotel was opened in 1609 and has been known as the Stanglwirt since 1643. The family-run property is a luxurious 171 room resort and spa which includes 75 suites. Roof terraces, open fireplaces and private saunas are among the offerings. Stanglwirt sits at the foot of Austria’s dramatic Wilder Kaiser mountains.
With its 14 tennis courts, the resort is well respected for its PBI tennis program and is a tennis destination for players from around the world.
Stanglwirt Caters to Those Looking For a Healthy Holiday-Any Season
There are fourteen tennis courts—six of them are indoors. In addition there is a large indoor fitness garden, programmes and fitness trainers. Tennis camps have been running here 1978 and have a reputation for being excellent.
Besides the fabulous tennis there are a plethora of things to do and see. The property has a private Lipizzaner stud farm, 600 hectares of hunting grounds and it’s own fishery.
The ‘Rock Well-Being World’ is a luxurious new indoor and outdoor pool and sauna area with panoramic views.
Well known for it’s restaurants, it features the Stangl-Arm Restaurant, Kamin Bistro by the open fireplace and Kaiser Stube with mountain views.
The Hauser family has owned the property since 1722.

The location is amazing, with the mountains right in front giving it a spectacular view. It is known as a Green Spa Resort. The property celebrated it’s 400th anniversary in 2009 and has had no closing days in over 250 years.
