Tennis next to the Pacific Ocean
One of the highlights of our tennis travels this past year was playing tennis in Mazatlan, Mexico. This sun-drenched destination with sandy ocean shores is a tennis players paradise with courts and resorts all through the area. We stayed at Playa Escondido which is privately owned condominiums that has its own tennis hard surface tennis court and an active group of regular players. Next door was La Marina where you can play on clay courts and has a full fledged tennis club. Both resorts are beach front and on a quiet stretch of beach just up from the Gold Zone which is the main tourist area. There are also several other resorts in Mazatlan which have tennis courts and programs.

Next Door La Marina Tennis and Yacht Club Also Has Rental Condominiums and Two Clay Courts
Right next to Playa Escondido is La Marina. Also right on the beachfront, the resort has a small tennis club with an active membership. The two clay courts are well kept and are a popular place to play.
The club also has a restaurant and lounge area which draw people from around the area.
