Tennis in London’s Most Lovely Park-Hyde Park
Hyde Park is one of the most iconic parks in the world; the setting for countless movies and literature from Peter Pan to Dracula, and a stop on every traveler’s list when they come to London. With the London Eye in the distance and the Albert Memorial adjacent, it is a truly lovely place to play tennis.
And yes, you can play tennis right in the thick of it all. A public tennis club in the park offers drop in play, coaching and clinics on a regular basis on these six very well maintained courts.
The lush greenery that surrounds the tennis area makes for a great setting. In the distance you can see the famed London Eye and if you look the other direction you are right next to the Grand Albert Memorial. We hit some balls here with one of the coaches and just loved the vibe. There is a nice clubhouse onsite as well.
